Activity - CAFEQUE Product Analysis
Product analysis is analysing or evaluating a product and whether we think it is good or needs improvements.
As a designer, you can use the good features from an existing product to fix faults and improve future designs.
Find an example of a lamp that is similar in design to the one you hope to make by conducting a Google search. Save an image of the lamp you have chosen and then use the CAFEQUE questions below to analyse it.
Some examples of other students' work is included below to help you reference how you might answer each criteria but don't copy these!
Place chosen lamp image in centre of your document
Puta big title at the top
Use CAFEQUE to analyse the product
Place each criteria in a text box around the image
Justify your statements. Use “why” and “because” to help you write your sentences.
