Testing & Experimentation
Practice EVERY skill and technique that you wish to include in your project, show evidence and evaluate each test here. You need a minimum of 6 experiments. Include an Aim, Method, Evaluation and Justification of Use and a sample for each experiment.
Prototyping & Modeling
- Prototyping is a test using footage, characters or content that you have developed for your project. This could be a first attempt, a transition practice using your actual footage or a practice export of your final file to figure out which file type has the best quality. You may do multiple prototypes of the same thing.
- Modelling is anything you may create to aid in the production of your project, e.g. a dolly, clay characters, etc.
Design Modifications
Based on research and prototyping, are there any materials, components or processes that you intend to change? Explain what the change will be, why you are modifying the design and provide details if so.
