Learning Goal 1: To understand and explain the definition of a fibre by the end of this lesson. In your digital portfolio (powerpoint document) create a new slide for Week 2. Brainstorm your answers to the following questions from what you already know in your own words (not a google definition). You can use words and images to help show your ideas: 1. What is fabric and what is it used for? 2. How is fabric made and what is it made from? 3. Where do fibres come from? Natural Fibres Cotton is derived from a plant and grown on farms. This makes it a natural fibre as it is comes naturally from the environment.
