NOW SCREENING
PRACTICAL:
You are to create a 2 to 3 minute (may be longer if you wish) movie trailer, short film, show reel or music video demonstrating various animation and video editing skills in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Adobe Animate or other suitable software.

You are to provide a portfolio to communicate your design process and the process you undertook to complete the project. A page-by-page summary of what is required is below. The portfolio must also:

The sequence you create:
- Requires a protagonist in every scene (does not need to be the same).
- Requires at least FIVE different scenes
- Must demonstrate at least FIVE different advanced animation or editing skills/tricks (eg. Scribble effect, Rotoscoping, motion tracking, 2D animation drawing, walk transition, etc)
- Does not require a storyline, though scenes do need to link through a theme of your choice.
- Include appropriate sound effects and background music which can be edited using Adobe Audition, garage band or another suitable software
- Film in landscape using appropriate camera angles that tell the story
- Use an Animated production logo i.e. Hollywood production presents……
- Include ending animation text e.g. “In cinemas August 11th”
PORTFOLIO:

- Be created using Adobe InDesign
- Include page numbers, headings, subheadings and body font, typography
- Appropriate font and colour scheme that matches the overall concept of the film and website
- Be printed and put into a portfolio A3 or A4 (single sided sheets)
