Software Package Download
To download the Adobe Creative Software follow these steps:
1. Log in to the DET Student Portal https://sso.det.nsw.edu.au/sso/XUI/?goto=https://portal.det.nsw.edu.au/#login/
2. Locate the 'Learning' Panel on the RHS of the screen, scroll down and click 'Show More'
3. Scroll back up to the top of the 'Learning' Panel on the RHS of the screen and click on 'Adobe DOE Software Download'
4. Follow the prompts by entering your student email address and create a 'Student Account'
Once you have access to the software in the Adobe Creative Cloud, please download the following software:

Activity 2 - As a class, decide if each item in the table below is an example of good or bad practice for a Digital Technology student.

Use Google Slides or Microsoft Powerpoint to create a digital portfolio document. Save this document and then choose a creative design layout for your portfolio.

Activity 3 - THINK, PAIR, SHARE the risks and hazards that you can think of or see in the computer room. Write down as many as you can in your digital portfolio.
Optional Extension Activity - Use a software of your choice to create an informative safety poster to help educate students about good workshop practices and appropriate behaviour in the computer rooms. Save your work sample into your digital portfolio.
Activity 4 - Label the computer parts on the worksheet below. You must first save the image onto your laptop to be able to write on it. What ways can you think of to be able to write your answers on it using your laptop?
