We can create a website by using and customising pre-existing templates. There are a range of websites that offer website templates, such as:

Activity 1 - Weebly Website
- Log on to Weebly using your education email address.
- Choose a purpose for your website based on the product you have chosen to market e.g. food, restaurant, a business, product, etc.
- Choose a template from Weebly.
- Begin customising the website template. We will continue to create content for the site in upcoming lessons which you will upload. This could include:
- Adding/deleting web pages
- Changing the contact details
- Editing the font styles
- Changing the colours of fonts & backgrounds
- Adding a photo gallery
- Inserting a video
As you plan your website design, remember "less is more" so keep it minimalistic and simplistic for maximum effectiveness. Don't clutter your pages and keep negative space intentional. Another detrimental factor to consider is capturing the user's attention. Layouts are most often done in an intentional 'F' or 'Z' pattern as per the Guttenburg diagram below.
